A beautiful Military Wedding in the stunning surrounding’s of the Abbey House Gardens in Wiltshire.
Today I’m thrilled to share Emily & Bob’s gorgeous military wedding at the outrageously wonderful Abbey House Gardens in England’s oldest borough of Malmesbury in Wiltshire.
They opted to get married in spring and In true British style, we experienced showers at their best and again in a true British stiff upper lip, Emily was determined to go ahead and get married outside and it did not damper the adventurous couple.
I began the day with the girls at The Old Bell, Englands oldest hotel with all the bride and bridesmaids sipping champagne and chilling in their in matching silk robes.
I was thrilled when Emily & Bob said they wanted to do a first look before the ceremony. I have shot lots of weddings in the US and it’s a very American tradition but one I so happy is finally coming over to the UK. Bob looked incredibly dapper in his military uniform has he wanted nervously and very patiently for his bride to be to walk from the hotel to the abbey gardens to finally meet her husband to be.
Despite the rain, Emily & Bob’s big day was fantastic and a pleasure to shoot.
Heres what they had to say about working with me!
We could not have been happier with Andrew Brannan Photography! Emily and I wanted reportage style photos to record our big day and Andrew has a gift for capturing those natural moments which honestly reflect the happiness of the occasion.
We were amazed by the effort Andrew put in for us and how he seemed to be everywhere at once- he just didn’t stop working and we had total faith in him – this, combined with the fact that he is so upbeat and personable meant that he instantly felt like one of the family and really helped put us at ease.
We would really recommend the complimentary pre-wedding shoot, as Andrew makes it a very relaxed environment and it takes the initial awkwardness off posing for photos.
Andrew, your photos of our wedding are incredible and we are so happy with them, this review really doesn’t do justice to you but thank you so much for everything you did for us- we already treasure the images you sent us and we are going to love looking through them over the years to come.
