I just love winter weddings, some photographers are scared to death about shooting in the cold dark months of November and December, but for me it’s magical. Especially given the impressive surrounding of Prior Park collage Sitting proudly atop the world-famous Prior Park Landscape Garden.

Although they both live and work in the big smoke of London, Edward grew up in Bath and went to school at Prior Park college so with that previous connection with the School, they were welcomed use the stunning Our Lady of Souls chapel as their venue for the ceremony. Sabina is a nanny who studied at the world famous Norland College so she has strong bonds with the city of Bath.

I spent the morning with Sabina at The Gainsborough Bath Spa along with her girlfriends and her dad whilst Edwards was at his family home pretty much next door to Prior Park College with my second shooter Luke. As usual, the image I love to get before I leave the bride in the morning is dad seeing his girl in the dress for the first time, It’s one of the moments that is very special and one of my favourite images to capture.

I have shot in Our Lady of Souls chapel a few times  and I get on really well with the Cannon so was great to see his smiling face once again and all he says to me is ” As long as you don’t get bald in any of the pictures you can go anywhere you wish” what a legend!

I am shooting 3 weddings at Prior Park this year and I hope they are all as good as this one! Well done guys, you deserve all the love and happiness in the world!

Heres what they had to say about working with me!

Whilst the Bride was a sight to behold, the other stars of the show were Andrew Brannan and his co-shooter Luke. We would highly recommend having a co-shooter so that both the Bride and Groom’s ‘getting ready’ photos can be captured and relived by both sides after the madness of the day!

Andrew was incredibly giving with his time, meeting with us a few months before the Wedding as well as a few days before the event to go over the last few details. He was highly organised and gave us a lot of fantastic tips and pointers in the run up to the Wedding, including arranging a stunning ‘Sparkler Shot’ in the late Winter daylight.

On the day, Andrew proved to be the epitome of efficiency; seemingly being in four places at once, capturing all of the important moments during our day. His warm and engaging personality was also a notable plus to calm the busy Bride and Groom! We loved Andrew’s classic and natural images, which were completely unobtrusive, and enabled us to spend maximum time with our guests throughout the day.

Although it came as little surprise, the photos were turned around with impressive speed and the quality of photos were undeniably perfect.

Look no further than Andrew Brannan; you won’t regret it!
