MELANIE & RICHARD’S KNEES UP AT THE ASYLUM PECKHAM.
The Asylum Peckham on the 12th of December 2016 was the scene for Melanie and Richards amazing wedding. The Asylum is an incredible venue in South East London. I’d wanted to shoot a wedding at the Asylum for a long time and finally I got the opportunity! For a photographer the Asylum is a paradise of gorgeous light, texture and character. The venue, alongside an amazing couple and a great bunch of guests made for an awesome day!
Richard contacted me earlier in the year and said he was looking for a certain type of photographer that did not pose couples and did not want to shoot any formal images, and after looking on my website I seemed to fit the bill. After chatting with both Richard and Melanie I could envisage the vibe of the day they wanted and boy did I get it spot on. A right rock n roll cockney knees up and of course the BINGO!
Here’s what they had to say about working with me as their Asylum wedding photographer:
“We were looking for a certain type of photographer. Andrew is someone we felt comfortable with and who really understood our approach and the vibe of our wedding. Andrew met with us to understand the plan for our wedding and most importantly to get a sense of us as a couple. He worked nonstop on the day, capturing key moments during the wedding and importantly additional elements that really framed the day. We wanted a little formality but also informal shots that captured people in the moment. That’s what we got, with such a keen eye for detail and topped off with a whole heap of STYLE and COOL !!
