A very elegant wedding at The Bath Abbey.
I couldn’t help but be swept along by the atmosphere at this wedding. It was bloody brilliant. I always say that weddings are about people. Lewis and Frances were married at the Bath Abbey, witnessed by their family and surrounded by their closest friends and about 1000 tourist that gathered outside. Frances was born here in Bath and even did her final A-Level coursework on the history of the heritage city. After clambering out from the crowds it was on to the Assembly rooms for diner and dancing, but not before I took the couple around the Royal Cresent and the Circus for some alone couples time!
The Assembly Rooms reception. After the hectic scenes at the Bath Abbey, it was nice to get back to somewhere a tad more quite and the Assembly rooms sure fitted the bill. I took the family outside for the formal pictures whilst the guest chowed down on canapés and slurped champagne. For me it’s so important that I don’t keep the couple and their family away from the other guest for too long, I always advise my bride and groom to keep the formal list at ten or less and I always get the ushers and best man involved to corral the people together. As the guest sat down for dinner it was then onto the speeches. Frances had only written her speech in the morning whilst having her make-up done and luckily, her 3-year-old god daughter was on hand with some of her finding Dory sketch pad paper to save the day!
Heres what they had to say about working with me!
As soon as we saw Andrew’s portfolio we knew he was the photographer for us due to his absolute mastery of blending into the day and getting such natural shots. And by jove he did not disappoint.
From the engagement shoot through to the big day Andrew was the epitome of a pleasure to deal with – challenging us, bringing new ideas to the table etc.
On the day I’ve never seen someone work so hard – one minute he’s getting a candid snap over your left shoulder and next thing you know he’s somehow on the opposite side of the room getting the cute baby making a funny face.
One of the things that hit me most was the number of guests on the day who commented on how great Andrew had been around them and how he never stopped! Needless to say the images as a result of his hard work are stunning.
The rest of you – hire him. Now. No, don’t think about it. Do it!!
Thank you so so much Andrew x
